: Thank you so much for the info I am going to try butchering my deer this season. I am tired of getting other hunters deer meat from the butcher. Last year we shot 11 young deer and were disappointed when we received mostly hamburger and super tough steaks back. : I hunt around my home of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. In thick Maple and Beech forests mixed in with grazing land. Lots of hills dot the country side making deer hunts a lot of fun. Thanks again for your help.
