I confess, I have no experience with wild boar nor do I know of any applicable web sites, but I have to believe that for both field dressing and for butchering, a boar would be very similar to a deer. Virtually all the muscles on a deer will also be on a boar. It's just that they'll be shorter on the boar. I don't know what the affects of aging on a boar will yeild. If any readers of this site know something about wild boar, please throw in your two cents.
